What students are saying:

Shawnee State University about Big Break 2006                                                     "At this time is human history... the truth and relevance of the gospel needs to be presented in a way that is meaningful and motivating to all who hear it! The Lord is using David Williams to share the relevance of His grace, hope, passion and love. David and I share a similar life experience... by the time David was finished sharing his message and testimony... I was nearly in tears and felt as if I was the only person in the audience... like he was speaking directly to me. The Lord is using David to reach the unsaved, and the saved to reaffirm their lives and commitment to Him. God's pursuit to capture David's soul, to transform his life, and build his character into the man he is today is an amazing story. The Lord has used David to reach me in a way that has left an eternal impact! I thank God for David's ministry and the personal friendship that formed between us during our time together at Panama City Beach during Big Break 2006!" - Jonathan F. James

...I know it was a controversial topic, but i only wished that i could have had more friends come and hear you speak... I went to the dive curious to see what the answer would be primarily because I've been asked similar questions by people who have questioned me and my faith and was so disappointed when i couldn't come up with a justified answer. I truly received more than just that answer from that meeting. I also wanted to thank you for being honest and sharing your story. I just wanted to let you know that you provided me with clarity when it comes to the concept of changing our behaviors when we truly accept Christ and start living our lives for him. It's something now that i feel like i can confidently tell others.[ i get it, if we truly accept him, it will allow him to renew our mind, start to recognize bad behaviors and slowly overtime, through a process, we change]

...I just wanted to thank you for your talks last Thursday at Real Life and at the retreat. God has truly given you a talent for speaking and communicating the gospel in a way that really penetrates the hearts of your audience. My mom is not a believer and she came to Real Life for the first time on Thursday for parent's night. I've shared my faith with her several times, but every time I feel like she just doesn't understand. I loved what you shared about what Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes, and her and I had a good talk about it after. She said she could identify with that compulsion to tell people about the best parts of themselves, even exaggerate them, when in reality their life is not that great. We got to talk more about who Solomon was and what it meant that he, given as much as he had, would find meaning in God alone. I explained to her what it meant that God has set eternity in the hearts of men, and that that is why we find that nothing else satisfies. I was so thankful for your talk that night and the opportunity that God provided to talk to my mom after...

What ministry leaders & adults are saying:

Associate Director of Adult Ministries/Providence Church                                   Thanks so much for taking the time to come and share with the men of Providence this past Saturday (11/13/10). It was a great evening and your preaching had significant impact on all of us. I had several positive comments made in reference to your talk that evening and the next morning, many of which came from people I would not have expected it from. I only had about half the men turn in cards but of those, 4 indicated they made decisions for Christ. Praise God for the way he used you and the event for His glory. - David Sellers

Senior Pastor responding to 'Ultimate Authority' message                                       Thank you for your message you preached last week. I was listening to it tonight and it just ministered to the depth of my soul. I've been struggling in a lot of areas in my life, family, and ministry and just have to truly surrender to Jesus as the ultimate authority and trust that He knows best in every area...That message should be mandatory listening for everyone in America. Maybe God will use you to preach it across the nation. If not, You sure ministered to me when I desperately needed it. Thanks again. You have a lifetime supporter in me.

Attended 2009 Ignite Festival                                                                                    “I had the pleasure of hearing your message at The Ignite Festival. We were so blessed to have you come and share God's wisdom through your message. I certainly felt "Ignited" to reach out to some of my friends to whom I have struggled in witnessing. You mentioned in a round about way) that it would be better for them to hate me than have them go to hell. I needed to hear that. I have had difficulty knowing how to approach the conversation and will pray for His guidance - the message you shared was a good reminder!” (Samantha)

Greater Cleveland Youth for Christ staff                                                           Praise the Lord! We had a great Cavaliers outreach last Friday night (Dec. 12th, 2008). The Lord used it to lead 75 kids to make a decision for him! Three Cavs players (Daniel Gibson, Terrance Kinsley, & Jawad Williams) shared their testimonies briefly with Cavs chaplain Kenny Rule- despite being pressured to leave right away to get on a charter flight to Atlanta that night. David Williams, a local staff with Campus Crusade, lovingly shared the need to invite Jesus into one's life and weaved in a lot of logic & scripture. The concourse was flooded with kids being counseled, receiving free Gospels of Johns, and filling out cards to receive prayer and church follow-up….

Thank you for your prayers for your Indians outreach this past Saturday (09/26/09)! Some great things happened. 472 people came to the pre-game program despite the rain and heard the Gospel in a creative way. Team Chaplain, Scott Kennedy, did a great job of interviewing 3 players (Matt LaPorta, Justin Masterson, & Jamie Caroll) about their testimonies. After the players, Campus Crusade Staff David Williams laid out the gospel with some very solid doctrine. Many indicated that they wanted to make a decision for the Lord and 83 went back to counseling to receive more information. Praise the Lord! Thanks to those of you that pray and support - you helped make this possible. May these young people thank you in heaven some day. Very appreciative of your role on the team, Brian Walls; Ministry Director; Greater Cleveland Youth for Christ/Campus Life/City; www.yfccleveland.org

Minister                                                                                                                  I just got finished listening to this sermon "Every Step Matters" and, once again, I was blown away by the power manifested by the Spirit of the Lord through your preaching. Your transparency not only ministered to me on a personal and ministerial level, but allowed the Lord to descend amongst His people. I know that there were those there by divine appointment to hear this word.
