A Prayer for Guidance and Revival - Prayer Journal 266

Father, in Jesus' name, I am grateful for Your presence with me throughout my life and for choosing me in Christ before the world was created. You knew me before forming me in my mother's womb. Before my birth, You set me apart to uniquely represent You on earth. I thank You for the appointed time, established before time began, for Christ to be revealed to me, in me, and through me.

I am truly amazed by who You are and what You have accomplished and provided for me. Your grace is absolutely amazing. It is through Your grace that I am saved from Your eternal wrath and brought into an everlasting relationship with You. I am grateful for the indwelling presence and work of the Holy Spirit in my life. Without You, I am nothing and possess nothing. However, everything I need for this life and the one to come is found in Christ, the hope of glory, who now resides within me.

I understand that I am unable to accomplish anything You have called me to do unless You are working in and through me. I cannot love You, worship You, praise You, glorify Your name, collaborate with You on Your Kingdom agenda, or fulfill Your will without You providing me with the desire and strength to do so. I cannot love my wife, raise my children in the fear and instruction of the Lord, preach Your Word, testify for Christ, love my brothers and sisters in Christ, or fulfill any other command from Your Word unless I submit to the powerful work of the Holy Spirit.

Reveal anything that is preventing me from having a close relationship with You and from being a pure and holy vessel to take Your presence and Word to others. Cleanse my hands and purify my heart so that my desire and passion are solely for You. Guide me to genuine repentance as You revive my spirit once more. For You alone are God, and You alone deserve my worship.

O God, as You initiate revival within me, I pray that You use me to ignite the flames of revival in the hearts of those You send me to. If Your presence does not lead me, then prevent me from going anywhere or doing anything. People do not need me; every person on earth needs You. Minister to my soul so that I may minister to others. Thank You for allowing me the privilege to participate in what You are doing in this world, impacting eternity and heaven.

Jesus, revive Your Church as You awaken us from our sleep to Your passion and purpose. Show Your presence, pour out Your Spirit, release Your Word, and reveal Yourself in every village, city, state, region, nation, and island across the world where Your people are gathered in Your name. Help us to be a people whose eyes are lifted up, knowing our redemption is near. Prepare us to be ready for Your return.

Grant us Your compassionate heart for the countless people around the world who do not know You. I pray that You send us as Your ambassadors into Your fields of harvest. May every follower's heart be ready with the response, 'Here I am! Send me!'. Initiate a profound spiritual awakening across the nations so that individuals from every nation, tribe, and language are drawn into Your Kingdom from the valley of decision. Do this for the glory of Your great name. Amen!
