I've often focused on complaining rather than being thankful... My actions have been guided by my emotions more than by Your Word and Spirit... ... How much time and how many opportunities have I squandered by complaining and taking no action? Guide me to value my days and to focus my heart on wisdom... ... Let genuine gratitude fill my heart and guide me to return to You, giving You the glory, honor, and praise that only You deserve...

You alone are worthy of my affection, attention, devotion, love, loyalty, and life. I was created by You and for You. Without You, I do not exist, and apart from You, I can achieve nothing. Do not let life's circumstances overwhelm me; let me be in awe of You, the Lord of life.

... I pray that You glorify Your name on earth through Your followers... It is incredible to consider that You, the self-sufficient One, who needs nothing and no one, would choose to partner and have a relationship with those who have disobeyed and rebelled against You...

I cannot continue living for myself if I want to experience more of Jesus' life. It must be either less of me and more of You, or more of me and less of You. Jesus, guide me as I deny myself, take up my cross, and follow You wherever You lead. My life isn't mine; I belong to You, as You have bought me at a great cost with Your precious blood.

Father, in Jesus' name, reignite my spiritual passion for You. Refresh my love and devotion for You above everything else. Restore my intimate fellowship with You. Transform me into a person who finds joy in You. Lead me to the point where You are my sole true heart's desire.

... You are the everlasting God who fulfills Your sovereign plans within time and space. You are beyond the confines of even the highest heavens, without any limitations or boundaries... ... Lead me to the place where I desire no one else and need nothing else, for You are my everything. You can have the entire world, just give me Jesus.

Father, in Jesus' name, I am grateful for Your kindness, love, and patience with me. No one compares to You, and yet I find myself easily distracted by temporary, lesser things. You have loved me with an eternal love. Thank You for showering me with Your love, making me a child of God. Nothing can separate me from Your love. Your love fills my heart through the Holy Spirit. I love You because You loved me first and have enabled me to love.

Forgive me for letting my uncertainties about Your purpose for my life divert my focus from You. You are active around, within, and through my life in ways I may not even recognize. Help me to trust You no matter my feelings and despite the deceitful whispers of the enemy.

You are the Fountain of ever flowing and everlasting water. So why do I turn to broken cisterns and polluted wells so often? You have liberated me. Help me to run in Your freedom. Demolish every stronghold of the enemy in my life by Your Word and powerful Holy Spirit. Forgive me for all the times that I have disregarded and rejected You for things that cannot satisfy me. Only You can truly satisfy me.

There are too many things that rob me of intimacy with You and service to You, my King... God capture my heart and set it ablaze with a passion for You... Cause Your holy fire to consume my life where I burn with ever increasing flames without burning up... Help me to walk in intimate fellowship with You and to live out of the overflow of that.

There is no one like You and there is no one who has done for us what You have done for us... You are the only One worthy of our affection, love, loyalty, praise, and worship.

Lord, like Robert Robinson wrote in the classic hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing", I am prone to wander without any real rhyme or reason. I keep getting involved in civilian affairs when I have been adopted in Your royal family and commissioned in Your army...

You are all that I need, the only One who can truly satisfy... You have not created and redeemed me to be Your worker, but Your child whom You dearly love... You alone are the lover of my soul, the One my heart longs for.

(Jesus) There is none like You. No one has done for me what You have done for me.

May my greatest desire be to know Christ... Manifest Your presence,.., speak Your Words, and reveal Yourself through my life and lips.

Everything You need to be, You are. You do not need anyone or anything besides who You are... I am because You are...You are my everything.

You are my Rock. In this world where everything that can be shaken is shaking, You are my stability. You love me because of who You are.

God, daily I trample the blood of Jesus treating it like a trivial, light, meaningless sacrifice.

You gave everything when You gave Jesus to make me Yours... Bring me to the place where You mean more to me than anyone or anything else.

You are infinitely superior to the people that You have made.. why is it that the exploits and opinions of people intrigue me more than You?
