Embracing Brokenness and Faith: Seeking God's Strength and Guidance - Prayer Journal 251

As I wrestle with You, Lord, grant me the strength to hold on until You bless me. Break me until I fully surrender to You. It is through brokenness that I truly come to understand and experience Your abundant and sufficient grace. You are all I need. Even if others overlook and ignore me, You see me and have chosen me to be Yours and work alongside You. Make me a man who is jealous for Your glory and fears Your holy name. Help me live by faith and not by sight.

When it appeared that Goliath's challenge and taunts would defeat Your people, You intervened through the young shepherd David to secure an extraordinary victory. Despite not being called to the battle, David, merely an errand boy sent by his father Jesse to deliver supplies to his brothers, was chosen by You at the opportune moment. Through his faith, You demonstrated that the God of Israel is the one true and living God.

Remind me that earthly leaders are not in control; You are! If You choose, You can use me to glorify Your name, advance Your Kingdom, and fulfill Your will on earth as it is in heaven when the time is right. Help me to be ready for that purpose. Keep me in position. My steps are guided by You, Lord, and I find joy in Your way. Open my eyes to see what You are doing around me and inspire me to join You. Reveal to me what You want me to do.

Renew me and heighten my sensitivity to Your Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, let You grow greater as I become lesser. Reveal Your presence, power, and glory in my life and through it. Let Your Spirit overflow from me to touch others. Grant me wisdom, spiritual insight, knowledge of Your will, and a deeper revelation of Jesus. Use my life to showcase Jesus so that others experience Your presence and hear Your words. In Jesus' name, Amen!
