My Fulfillment and Purpose Are Found Only in Jesus! - Prayer Journal 246

Father, in Jesus' name, I bless You and praise You. You are my God, my Lord, my King, my Savior, my Redeemer, my Rock, my Refuge, my Strong Tower, my Deliverer, my Shield, and Exceeding Great Reward. You are absolutely everything that I need. So please keep me from running and turning to anyone and anything else.

You are the Fountain of ever flowing and everlasting water. So why do I turn to broken cisterns and polluted wells so often? You have liberated me. Help me to run in Your freedom. Demolish every stronghold of the enemy in my life by Your Word and powerful Holy Spirit. Forgive me for all the times that I have disregarded and rejected You for things that cannot satisfy me. Only You can truly satisfy me.

Lead me to the place where I find joy in You as You fulfill the desires of my heart. Let You alone be the true desire of my heart. Forgive me for not being a good steward of this body, which is a temple of Your Holy Spirit, and of the financial resources that belong to You. Forgive me for my anxiety and worry about life and finances. Please grant me wisdom and assist me in being a faithful steward of Your possessions. Thank You for Your promise to supply all my needs according to Your glorious riches in Christ.

God, I do not know what to do, so I look to You. I desire to live a supernatural life that is unexplainable without You. Help me follow Your Word. Reveal the areas where I'm compromising and disobeying. Guide me to confess, repent, and return to You. Grant me a sharp sensitivity to Your Spirit and the ability to hear Your voice as I follow Your guidance in my life. Help me to walk by faith and not by sight.

Help me to find rest in the finished work of Jesus' death and to live a new life as a result of His resurrection. Thank You for the intimacy that I have with You because of Jesus. I am Your beloved child and You are well pleased with me. I am approved and accepted because of what You have done for me in Christ. Knowing this, I desire to please You.

God, let me be devoted to You, and may others see this through my love for Your children and my obedience to Your Word. I desperately need You and understand I cannot accomplish anything without You. You are the Source of my strength and the Strength of my life. You are my life. I was dead and You have made me alive.

I owe You my life. Help me to surrender to You what is rightfully Yours by creation and redemption. Make me a man of integrity who loves Your law, who loves righteousness, and hates wickedness. I am tired of denying You for lifeless things. Help me to come after You, deny myself, to take up my cross daily, and to follow You wherever You lead me.

Jesus, please speak to me. Give me a holy encounter with You that causes me to pursue You with reckless abandon until I see You face-to-face and hear You say to me, 'Well done you good and faithful servant.' I cannot wait until that day when You give me the crown of righteousness for the way Your grace has worked through me. I'll toss it at Your feet because only You are worthy of it all. Thank You for the good work that You have begun in me that You will complete on the day You return. Amen!
