God, I bless and praise Your great and awesome name. You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, all things visible and invisible. There is none like You in the heavens above or on the earth below. You are the King who is eternal, immortal, and invisible. Your throne is established in the heavens and Your Kingdom rules over all. You are the One and only true and living God and besides You there is no other. For You alone are God and You are God alone. You are unique, distinct, and infinitely superior in the quality of Your being to everything that You have made. You are One God in three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit) who are co-eternal, co-equal, and co-existing. Each person possesses all the attributes of God such that the Father is fully God, the Son is fully God, and the Holy Spirit is fully God but yet You are the Lord our God, the Lord who is one.
Jesus, how mind blowing is it that You, the eternal Son of God, would leave the glory You shared with the Father in heaven where You were worshiped by angels to come into this broken world of death, pain, sin, and suffering as a man to be blasphemed, mocked, and killed by men who You created. You had every right to come into this world to judge humanity for our rebellion and sin against God. Yet You came into this world to die for the sins of the world so that people could be reconciled and have a right relationship with God by believing You.
Thank You God for choosing to show Your love to us when we deserved nothing but Your wrath. Thank You Jesus that You were wounded and crushed for our sin! Thank You Jesus that You were beaten that we might have peace! Thank You Jesus that because You were whipped that You've made a way for us to be healed! We all have left God's path to follow our own. Yet our guilt and sin was laid on You. Thank You Jesus for rending the heavens and coming to the earth to ransom, redeem, and save our souls from the slavery or sin, captivity of satan, and eternal separation from God in hell by Your death on the cross. God had Jesus who was sinless to take our sin upon Him so that we might receive a right standing with God through Him.
Jesus, You did it all in obedience to the Father's will and You were raised to life again after suffering and dying for the sins of the world. You have no rivals, no equals, no competitors, and none that infinitely comes close to comparing to You. Yours is the name above all names. All those who place their faith in You are forgiven of their sin and raised to new life in Christ. With Your blood, Jesus, You have purchased people for God from every nation, tribe, people group, and tongue. We are now a dwelling place for Your Holy Spirit here on earth. In light of Your mercies to us, empower us to give all that we are to You as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God for this is our spiritual act of worship. Do not let us hold back anything from You as You gave Yourself fully to us. In Jesus' name, Amen!!!
