Aligning Life with the Reality of Jesus and His Kingdom (Prayer Blog 303)

Father, I bless and praise You in Jesus' name. You are the great One, worthy of immense praise. You are my King, my Lord, and my God. You are more awe-inspiring than I can comprehend. Your greatness is beyond understanding, unfathomable to anyone. You are the one true and living God. You are the creator of all things, both visible and invisible. You are the Maker of the heavens and the earth.

You created and rule over all powers and authorities, demonstrating Your Sovereignty. Humans have yet to comprehend the vastness of Your creation, both on earth and in the universe. To us, it seems limitless, but You measure it effortlessly. The earth's waters are like a drop in a bucket to You, and the nations are mere dust, to be swept away when Jesus restores everything to You.

It is mind blowing to think that my help comes from You, LORD. You created everything by Your Word and sustain it. You made me and keep me together. Thank You for making Your power and authority available to me in Christ. Help me surrender, submit to Your will, obey Your Word, and yield to Your Spirit to reveal Your glory, advance Your Kingdom, and do Your will on earth as in heaven.

I ask You to expand my heart for You. Guide me to willingly offer all that I am and possess to You, for everything I have is received from You. Reveal to me the selfishness and self-centered ambitions within my heart. Lead me to confess and turn away from them. By the Spirit, help me to overcome them so I can genuinely live for You. Too often, I focus on myself instead of Jesus, and that should never be the case.

May my whole life revolve around Jesus and Your Kingdom, ensuring You hold the utmost importance and take precedence in everything. Lead me to the point where You are the one true desire of my heart and fill me with Your love for those You cherish. Fill me with Your Spirit and guide me to love my fellow believers as You have loved us. Let my heart overflow with Your love and compassion for those who do not know Jesus and are outside Your Kingdom.

May my desire to preach Jesus focus on revealing You, helping people encounter You, bringing them into Your Kingdom, and strengthening the body of Christ, rather than just exercising a spiritual gift. I'm sorry, Lord, for when I make it about something else. Prepare me as a consecrated vessel to carry Your presence and Word to others. Fill me with Your Spirit and inscribe Your Word abundantly on my heart. Anoint me to preach the eternal gospel of Jesus Christ to all You send me to, without compromise, hesitation, or reservation. Amen!
