Jesus, Strengthen My Faith as You Lead and Transform Me (Prayer Blog 304)

Jesus, You are my foundation and provide stability in my life. On Christ, the solid rock, I stand; every other ground is unstable. You remain faithful, the only constant in my life. Your thoughts about me, Your love for me, and Your plans for my life remain unchanged.

Assist me in turning my focus towards You, to worship and praise You alone. There is no one like You, none who can compare. I am here to dedicate myself to You. Guide me to do so freely and completely, without any compromise, reservation, or hesitation. I feel so weak. Please fill me with the power and presence of Your Holy Spirit.

Where I am now is where You have guided me. Anoint and use me to collaborate with You in fulfilling Your purpose here. I am grateful that You formed me in my mother's womb, that You are shaping Christ in my heart, and transforming me into Your likeness. You are incredibly strong and mighty, and creation offers us numerous examples of this:

• The oceans with their depths, tumultuous waves, currents, tides, and waves;

• The storm with its powerful winds, lightning and thunder, and heavy downpours;

• The sun, with its intense heat, can fry an egg on concrete, burn our skin, and illuminate every part of the earth it touches, even from 93 million miles away.

Make me a man who fears the LORD, evidenced by my delight in Your Word and obedience to You. Guide me to a place where my only desire is to glorify You, advance Your Kingdom, and fulfill Your will in all things, both big and small, privately and publicly. Drain my heart of selfish ambition and the love of this world. Far too many times have I proclaimed Your name with my lips with a desire for personal gain in my heart. You are merciful to me for that should never be.

Guide me to view myself as You do, so I can humble myself before Your Majestic Glory. Instruct and assist me in surrendering to You, resisting the devil, and witnessing his retreat. May You alone hold preeminence, priority, and first place in my life. Help me to prioritize Your Kingdom and righteousness, ensuring that everything I need to fulfill Your will and bring You glory is provided. In Jesus' name, Amen!
