Approaching the Throne of Grace: A Journey of Faith and Divine Guidance - Prayer Journal 257

ree

Father, in Jesus' name, I honor and exalt You, my God, my King, and my Lord. You are the Holy One who dwells in unapproachable light. The seraphim around Your throne cannot gaze directly at You because the brilliance of Your glory is too overpowering. Yet, I am amazed that, through the blood of Jesus that was shed through the torn veil of His flesh, I can approach Your magnificent throne of grace.

ree

My life is hidden in Christ; I died, was buried, raised, ascended, and am seated with Him at Your right hand. In Christ, I have the greatest seat in the Kingdom and am Your beloved, adopted child. I am the righteousness of God in Him, as He atoned for my sin. You have sealed me with Your Holy Spirit, the guarantee of my full inheritance until redemption.

ree

One day, I will fully receive that inheritance with a new body in the new heavens and new earth. Guide me today to focus on what is certain and eternal, rather than pursuing the temporary pleasures of this world that are disappearing. Without You, I am lost. I also understand that I cannot fulfill what You are calling me to do unless You work through me.

ree

Help me not to waste time figuring out what to do with the life You've given me. Guide me to seek and find You as I search for You with all of my heart. You know the plans You have for me, so let me align with Your plans rather than pursuing my own. You will surely accomplish Your purpose concerning my life.

ree

Open my ears to hear Your words and my eyes to see Your actions. Guide me through Your Spirit to act only on what I observe and hear from You. Give me profound discernment and sensitivity to Your Spirit. Help me to follow You, Jesus, wherever You guide me. Remove any complacency from my soul and transform me into someone who earnestly seeks You. May I be recognized as a pursuer of God, relentless until I see Jesus and hear Him say, 'Well done, good and faithful servant!' Amen!
