I honor and exalt You, my God, my King, and my Lord. You are the Holy One who dwells in unapproachable light. The seraphim around Your throne cannot gaze directly at You because the brilliance of Your glory is too overpowering. Yet, I am amazed that, through the blood of Jesus that was shed through the torn veil of His flesh, I can approach Your magnificent throne of grace.

Jesus, You who shared glory with the Father before the world's creation, entered this sinful world, faced blasphemy, mockery, and death on a Roman cross. You, the author and giver of life, tasted death. You, the holy One, became sin. You, the Light of the world, experienced darkness. Yet You rose from the dead, conquering sin and darkness. You offer life, light, and immortality to all who believe in You.

I am so tired of treating You like You are common when You are the Holy One...How is it that You haven't just wiped me off of the face of the earth? Great is Your mercy!

You are the King enthroned over Your creation. You are absolute moral purity. In You there is light and there is no darkness at all. You sit in unapproachable light and no evil, wickedness, or sin can be in Your holy presence ...Thank You that by the shed blood of Jesus You have taken our sins that were as red as scarlet and washed us whiter than snow. ... You have made it possible for us by that blood to enter into the most holy place - Your presence.

Help me to look to You, the Holy One, to see how infinitely far I fall short while beholding Jesus and seeing Your amazing grace towards me.
