Father, in Jesus' name, give me a fervent heart to seek You wholeheartedly. Forgive me for letting my uncertainties about Your purpose for my life divert my focus from You. You are active around, within, and through my life in ways I may not even recognize. Help me to trust You no matter my feelings and despite the deceitful whispers of the enemy.

You love me, stay by my side, understand me, and will never abandon or forsake me. You started a work within me that You will complete. Guide me to turn away from thoughts that oppose Your words about me. I pray that You use me to encourage my brothers and sisters to do the same. Pour out Your Spirit on Your children. Inspire us to repent of our sins and return to You wholeheartedly. As we do this, I ask that You revive us once more.

I desire to belong with others yet frequently feel out of place. However, what I truly need more than fitting in is a close relationship with You and the ability to love others. Loving others sometimes involves speaking truths they might not want to hear. It's about saying things that may be painful but necessary for healing hearts. Awaken us from our complacency. Help us to sober up from being intoxicated by the pleasures of this world. Forgive us and free us from infidelity, as we have befriended a world that opposes You.

I am weary of adhering to a routine that results in us being comfortable Christians without making a difference in the world. Ready me to be a divine disruptor. However, I need You to first awaken me from the apathy, complacency, indifference, and laziness that render me ineffective as a representative of Christ. Do whatever is necessary to reignite my passion and love for You above all else.
I admit that recently I've been just coasting along, drifting, and acting without real purpose. Guide me away from the comfortable and secure shore. Cast me into the swift, deep waters where I must fully depend on You, or risk drowning. Place me on Your spiritual tightrope without a safety harness or net, compelling me to rely entirely on You for every step of the way.

Inscribe Your message on my heart, place Your words in my mouth, and bestow upon me the boldness and courage through Your Spirit to live and speak on Your behalf, regardless of others' opinions, words, or actions. May I always remember that I am not employed by men but am a servant of Christ. Furthermore, I am Your beloved child, granted the honor of serving in the Father's work. I am a citizen of heaven, anticipating a savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen!!
