God Grant Me Knowledge and Wisdom to Glorify You and Serve Your Purpose - (Prayer Blog 302)

Father, lead me today in my interactions with others and in the tasks You have assigned to me. Give me a deep sensitivity to Your Spirit and a strong desire to please You and do Your will. I am uncertain of what to do or how to proceed, so I turn to You. You are my strength and the foundation of my life.

You possess complete knowledge and can impart any of it, along with the revelation of who You are, into my mind at any moment. You are always aware, never uncertain, in need of guidance, or required to learn anything. Your knowledge is complete and immediate, and You can reveal what You know to anyone You choose at any time. You share Your secrets with Your friends, and it is incredible that I am one of them.

Guide me in what I should do today to honor Your holy name, further Your Kingdom, and carry out Your will on earth as it is in heaven. Enhance my knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, not to surpass others, but so that You can use me to reveal who You are and Your works on earth to those around me.

Keep removing pride and selfish ambition from my heart. Fill me with Your Spirit so that I may be humble and bring glory to You in everything. Lead me to the place where my desire to preach Your Word is driven by a heart for people to hear from You and see Jesus, not me. Transform me into a person who is passionate about Your glory and unashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

May I always speak Your Words instead of my own. Inscribe Your Word deeply on my heart so that my mouth speaks from its abundance. Fill my heart with Your love for the family of God and with Your compassion for those who do not know Christ. Let my heart be moved by what moves Yours and give me a burden for the causes You want me to join. Use me to strengthen the body of Christ and to bring others to Jesus. Amen!
