Holy Father, in Jesus' name, You sit enthroned above the circle of the earth. Your throne is established in the heavens and Your Kingdom rules over all. You have set Your glory above the heavens and You have to stoop down to look upon the heavens and the earth. There is no one who comes infinitely close to comparing to You for You are the God Most High. You are God alone and You alone are God. You are the One and Only true and living God. You are the Sovereign Lord who is in absolute control of all things in the heavens, on earth, and under the earth; in the spiritual realm and in the natural realm; in time and throughout eternity. You are infinitely more amazing and awesome than we will ever know. Your greatness is unsearchable!
God, You are the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Creator of all things visible and invisible. You are the One who sustains everything that You have made. For by Your very Word all things were brought into existence and by Your Word all things hold together. It is by the Word, made flesh in the person of Jesus Christ and his sinless life and death on the cross, that all things in heaven and on earth are reconciled to Yourself. Jesus, thank You for inaugurating the Kingdom of God in Your death and resurrection from the dead and that it continues among Your people today as You and the Father sent the promised Holy Spirit. Yet we long for the fullness of the Kingdom of God when You, Jesus, return and deliver the Kingdom to God the Father.
Jesus, when You return the glory of God will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. The kingdoms of this world will become the Kingdom of our Lord and Christ and of Your Kingdom there will be no end. For when You return there will be a brand new heaven and a new earth. Heaven will be a place on earth as the New Jerusalem will come down from heaven. All of us who believed and followed You, Lord Jesus, will be changed in the twinkling of an eye and given new resurrected bodies. God, You will dwell with Your people and we will dwell with You, our holy God. There will be no more evil or wickedness. Only the perfect will of God being done on earth as it is in heaven for the rest of forever. We will worship, the Lamb of God who was slain and He who is seated on the throne, as we sing a new song and reign with our King Jesus serving His purposes in His eternal Kingdom. O God how we long for that day to arrive, a day that will go on forevermore.
Jesus, help us to be ready for Your coming at any moment, to pray, and to be engaged in Your Kingdom business until Your return. As we live on this side of eternity, where eternal life has broken into time, bring us to the place where Your priority is ours to see Your name treated as holy everywhere we are throughout the earth. Anoint us, Your ambassadors and Kingdom representatives, to pray that Your Kingdom reign comes to the hearts of men, women, boys, and girls as we preach Your glorious gospel. Send Your presence before us to prepare the way and each and every heart for Your Word and an encounter with You. Thank You for Your promise to be with us as we labor with You in Your harvest field even until the end of the age. Amen!!!
