Father, in Jesus' name, You are good and You are great! There is no one like You, no one who infinitely comes close to comparing to You. You are the One and only true and living God. Help me every day that You give me to live on this earth to take time to be still and know that You are God. Help me to consecrate myself to You, to surrender to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, to obey Your Word, to yield to Your Holy Spirit, and submit to Your will.
I do not need to do great things, but those who know their God will be strong and do great exploits. No one needs to know my name for the name of Jesus is the only name given unto men under heaven by which men might be saved. So, I ask You to fill me afresh with Your Spirit and use me to proclaim Your great name. No one needs my presence, but it is Your presence that makes all the difference.
Lord Jesus, live Your resurrected life to, in, and through me with great power and glory. Manifest Your presence, release Your Word, pour out Your Spirit, heal the sick, open the eyes of the blind, bind the brokenhearted, set the captives free, raise the dead, and reveal Yourself to others through my life, marriage, and family. My life is not my own to You I belong for You bought me with Your precious blood. I give myself away to You for You to use me for Your glory. My body is a temple of Your Holy Spirit. May my life be a place where Your presence loves to dwell.
I need You even more than I could ever know. Help me to fast this flesh that I may feast in the Spirit. May Your Spirit cause a fresh wind to blow and a rekindled fire to burn in my heart and life. Cause the first love fire for You to rage in my heart and to grow until my entire life is consumed by Your fiery presence. May the flames of passion for You never be dampened, extinguished, or quenched by the world, the flesh, and the devil. Cause the fire of Your Word to be shut up in my bones that I cannot hold it in. Bring me to the place where I must speak the Word that You have written upon my heart and placed in my mouth. Make me one who cries aloud and spares not.
God give me fresh faith to trust You to do in and through me only what You can do. For what You have called me to partner with You in I will fail miserably unless You do it. Give me the faith to step out of the boat to walk on water, at Your Word, even in the middle of a raging storm. There is absolutely nothing too hard or impossible for You. And with You all things are possible for the one who believes. Your Word declares that without faith it is impossible to please You but that You are a rewarder of the one who diligently seeks You. Make me a man who trusts You with all of my heart. There are many plans in my heart, but it is Your purpose that shall prevail. Align me with Your purpose. Like the psalmist may I say, 'Not to us, O Lord, not to us but to Your name be the glory.' Great things You have done. In Jesus' name, Amen!!!
