Prayer for Renewal and Divine Guidance - Prayer Journal 241

Father, in Jesus' name, thank You for Your love and presence in my life, for working within me and never abandoning me. Lord, I need You more than I can comprehend. My heart is not right before You. Guide me to repent and return to You. As I do, please renew my heart. I have nothing to offer that makes me worthy before You. I only deserve Your wrath. I understand that my own righteousness is like filthy rags before You. I need the righteousness that comes through faith in Jesus Christ.

I cannot even deliver a message without You providing it. I need to hear from You. If I don't hear from You, don't let me speak. If Your presence doesn't go before me, don't let me move. No one needs me to show up or speak. We need Your presence and Your Word.

God take over our worship services. Say what You want to say and do what You want to do. May what happens among us, in our hearts, lives, marriages, families, and churches be unexplainable except through Jesus. I am weary of just showing up, going through the motions as we sing and listen without truly considering You. Bring us to our knees before Your altar as we let You work in our hearts.

Manifest Your presence among us, pour out Your Spirit on us, release Your Word to us, and reveal Jesus. I don't want to just hear about revivals others have experienced. Can You use someone to ignite revival in others' hearts who also needs revival? If so, I ask You to revive me. Help me to surrender myself to You so You can use me to glorify Your name and partner with You in building Your eternal Kingdom. Use me to share Your Word and my life with those You send me to so they may hear and see Jesus.

God, perform surgery on my heart. Remove all the hard and deadened areas so that my heart beats solely and frequently for You. You are holy, and I recognize that I am ruined before You, apart from Jesus' finished work on my behalf. You are preparing me for greater effectiveness in Your Kingdom through the trials of affliction. You have led me this way to grow my faith and deepen my dependence on You.

Everything You have given me, I now relinquish into Your hands for Your exclusive use, purpose, and glory. Lead me to confess and repent of all my sins. Thank You for what You are doing in my heart, mind, and soul. Bring me to the end of myself and fully to You, clothed with Christ and filled with Your Holy Spirit.

I don't know what You want, but You do. So, by Your Spirit, bring about what You desire in and through my life for Your glory, honor, and praise. Help me to yield to and walk in the Spirit so that I may glorify Jesus in all things. Thank You, Jesus, for declaring me righteous with the Father and giving me the Spirit's power to live rightly in this fallen world. I love You, Lord Jesus. Amen!
