Seeking Deeper Revelation and Unity in Christ - Prayer Journal 245

ree

Father, thank You once more for Your faithfulness towards Your children. I pray that You continue to reveal Jesus to us and that Your Spirit works powerfully within us to honor Your name, build Your Kingdom, and fulfill Your will on earth as it is in heaven. Encourage us to seek You even when our emotions and situations don't align with our beliefs about You. Remind us that You are holy, righteous, and good, even when it seems like You are being unfair or not acting as we expect. Help us to trust You, even when we don't understand Your actions.

You are God, and we are not. You cannot be completely known, understood, or comprehended. Your ways are beyond discovery. You are the God who appears in the fire, the storm, the earthquake, and the quiet whisper. Shatter every constraint we have tried to impose on our understanding of You and Your actions. You have no limits or boundaries. You are free to act as You wish, in any manner, at any time, in any place, and towards anyone.

God forgive us for frequently judging others and believing that our understanding of You and how You should act is correct. Guide us to live from the abundance of a close relationship with You and to constantly inspire each other to do the same. Consequently, may we experience Your presence more profoundly than we ever thought possible, as You use us to help others encounter Your manifest presence. May You alone hold the preeminence, priority, and foremost place in our lives, marriages, families, churches, work, and ministries.

Guide each of us to fulfill the role You have assigned us within the body of Christ, as we strive to live in a manner worthy of the gospel. Unite us under Jesus, our head, so that we may reflect Him in the world. Pour out Your Spirit abundantly upon us, release Your Word to us, and reveal Jesus every time we gather. May the resurrected life of Jesus be evident in us as His ministry of teaching, healing, deliverance, and salvation breaks forth through us. Transform us from merely 'doing church' to 'being the Church,' accomplishing the greater works that Jesus promised we would do. Amen!
