Everyone Needs Jesus! - Prayer Journal 244

God, we desperately need You. We cannot breathe without Your presence. Our hearts rely on You to beat, and our minds depend on You to function. Without You, we would fall apart. Our existence is impossible without You. Without You, we are spiritually lifeless. You are the source of our strength and the foundation of our lives.

You are the Great I Am, and our existence is due to You. You require nothing and no one. We, along with all that You have created, depend on You. You are God alone, and there is no one or anything that can even remotely compare to You.

You are holy, and there is no one like You! You reign as the sovereign King above Your creation. Your throne is established in the heavens, and Your Kingdom governs everything. You are exalted, elevated, and seated on Your throne. You have placed Your glory above the heavens and look down upon the heavens and the earth. Thank You for opening the heavens and coming to us in the person of Jesus Christ.

The vastness of the heavens, even the highest realms, cannot hold You. It is astonishing that all of Your divine nature was embodied in Jesus. You, the glory of heaven and the representation of the unseen God, chose to come to earth in the likeness of sinful humanity. Yet, You remained without sin.

Jesus, You who shared glory with the Father before the world's creation, entered this sinful world, faced blasphemy, mockery, and death on a Roman cross. You, the author and giver of life, tasted death. You, the holy One, became sin. You, the Light of the world, experienced darkness. Yet You rose from the dead, conquering sin and darkness. You offer life, light, and immortality to all who believe in You. You grant us Your Holy Spirit so we may shine Your light in the world's darkness until the day the Light fully dawns at Your return.

As we, Your followers, spend time with You, I pray for the following: enlighten our eyes to perceive You more clearly; attune our ears to hear the whispers of Your Holy Spirit; expand our minds to comprehend Your scriptures; open our hearts and soften them to accept the good seed of Your Word, and guide us to respond with faith and obedience; open our mouths to praise You, to express gratitude, to confess sin, to renounce idols and false gods, to bear witness for You, and to powerfully proclaim the Word of God.

Ignite our lives with an unending fire from within, growing ever more intense until our entire beings are enveloped by Your magnificent presence. As You kindle revival within us, use us to inspire a spiritual awakening in the world. Lord Jesus, show Your presence, pour out Your Spirit, release Your Word, and reveal Yourself to others through us.

We seek a renewed experience with You that motivates us to share the gospel with our neighbors and the world. It's not more knowledge about You that we require, but rather Your transformative power in our lives, allowing us to reflect You. We ask that Your Spirit move within us so that in everything, You are honored, Your Kingdom progresses, and Your will is fulfilled through us. Just as we do, this world urgently needs You, even if they aren't aware of it. Use us to bring Your presence and message to them. You really are the Savior of the world. Amen!
