God, You are good. You are ever so faithful. You will fulfill Your purpose to bring glory to Your great name throughout the earth. It is mind blowing to think that You have a part for me to play in Your eternal Kingdom. You love me, and You are with me. You are at work in and around me. You have not changed Your mind about me. You are for me so who can be against me? Forgive me for all the times that I have doubted You and believed the lie that You are holding out on me and forgotten about me. Forgive me for the times that I have given into my emotions and feelings rather than trusting Your Word. It is easy for me to believe for You to do great things for others while not believing that is true for me.
God, there is nothing too hard or impossible for You. I am thankful that my doubt and faithlessness cannot stop Your will and purpose from coming to pass. Lead me to repentance so that I may partner with You in what You are doing and not just watch from the sidelines as a spectator. Thank You for being so patient with me, so longsuffering, so gentle, and oh so kind. You know me infinitely better than I know myself: my swings of emotions, ungodly and worldly thoughts, apathy, complacency, indifference, and laziness. These things never catch You off guard or take You by surprise. You know everything about me and yet You want everything to do with me. You delight in me. You have chosen me to be Yours in Christ even before the creation of the world.
Thank You for demonstrating Your love for me through the death Jesus for me knowing that I would live in sin and rebellion against You. Thank You for sending Jesus to be the atoning sacrifice for my sin (not just mine but for the sins of the world). You have redeemed me from the slavery of sin and the captivity of satan by the precious blood of Jesus. I belong to You and my body is now Your holy temple. Move me to confess my sin so that I may be a pure and holy vessel for Your purpose and pleasure. Fill this temple to overflowing measure with Your Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus live Your resurrected life to, in, and through me with great power and glory.
God, thank You for Your presence with me right now. Help me in this moment to draw near to You as You draw near to me. Help me to live out of the new heart that desires to please You as I put the deeds of the flesh to death by the Spirit. Help me to surrender all to You - withholding nothing. Forgive me for allowing my eyes to see, my ears to hear, and my mind to meditate on too many things that entice me to give in to the culture instead of following Christ. Forgive me for being entertained by things that distract me from and do not honor You. I do not need to know or experience all that this world has to offer. I need to know and experience Jesus Christ. Bring me to the place where knowing Him is my greatest desire. Move me from the place of giving You lip service to truly giving You my life.
