Prioritizing God: Transform & Use My Life - Prayer Journal 261

Father, in Jesus' name, No one is like You; none can even begin to compare to You. You are the King of kings and Lord of lords, the Creator of the heavens and the earth. You are the Most High God, seated on Your heavenly throne, ruling over everything. You are holy! There is truly no one like You. No one can even come close to comparing to You. You are the one true God, and there is no other besides You.

You alone are worthy of my affection, attention, devotion, love, loyalty, and life. I was created by You and for You. Without You, I do not exist, and apart from You, I can achieve nothing. Do not let life's circumstances overwhelm me; let me be in awe of You, the Lord of life. As I stand on holy ground in Your glorious presence, help me to humble myself before You. Guide me to be still and recognize that You are God, even amidst great activity. In my silence, let me hear Your voice so I may walk in Your destiny and purpose.

I ask for forgiveness for the times I've overindulged my desires, mismanaged the financial resources and time You have given me, and for not recognizing You in many of the tasks You have enabled me to accomplish. Lead me to a state where prioritizing You over everything else is natural, and where I value people more than tasks. Guide me to love You above everything and to love others as I love myself.

May I always give You priority, preeminence, and the foremost place in everything and at all times. Help me to trust You moment by moment, step by step, and day by day. Forgive me for frequently worrying about the future when Your Word advises me to be anxious about nothing. Instill in me the desire to seek Your presence and fulfill Your will each morning that You awaken me. At this moment, I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to put the deeds of the body to death. Lead me to the point where my deepest desire is to know Christ.

Refiner's fire, engulf me and remove all dross and impurities from my being. Instill within me the character qualities of Christ and the fruit of the Spirit. Empower me to use every spiritual gift You've given me to uplift the body of Christ and lead the lost to Jesus. I am grateful for the favor, open doors, and opportunities You've provided for me to join in Your eternal purpose.

Jesus, perform a work in, through, and with me that will leave me and everyone who encounters You through me amazed. I have limitations, boundaries, and things I cannot do. You have no limits or boundaries, and nothing is too difficult or impossible for You. I can accomplish all things through You as You provide me with strength. You are the vine, and I am a branch; without You, I can do nothing. Help me to honor Your name as holy, advance Your Kingdom's purpose, and fulfill Your will on earth as it is in heaven. Amen!
