Holy Father, thank You for working even when I am not aware of it. It is not so much about what I do. It really has everything to do with what You have done. I can only respond to You. You are the creator, sustainer, and redeemer. Left up to me then I would not even exist, I would fall apart and be eternally lost. My plans are self-centered and temporal. And apart from You I do not have the knowledge, understanding, wisdom, and power to bring Your purpose to pass.
God use me to accomplish what You sent me into the earth for. Help me to fully cooperate with your will and purpose as I surrender to Your Lordship, yield to Your Holy Spirit, and obey Your Word. Align the highest priority of my heart with Yours - to honor Your name as holy. May there be nothing that is more important to me than glorifying Your holy and righteous name. Bring me to the place that whatever I do that I do it for the glory of Your name.
I am so grateful that Your grace is greater than my sin. For if that were not the case I would have been cut off from intimate fellowship and partaking from the storehouse of Your goodness a long time ago. In fact, I would have never experienced either but only Your wrath. Why are You so patient with me? Why have You chosen me with the knowledge that I would daily yield to temptation and bow my heart to false gods and idols? You are not hard up nor desperate. You do not need anything or anyone. You are everything that You need.
Perfect love, perfect fellowship, perfect community, perfect honor, perfect submission, and perfect unity exists only in You the triune God (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). What is so remarkable is that You have made it possible for me, a disobedient rebel, to partake of these things which I am not worthy of. Thank You Father for sending the Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to be the atoning sacrifice for my sin. Thank You Father and Son for sending the Holy Spirit that I may share in Your life.
God forgive me for my many sins committed against You: gluttony; idolatry; lust; apathy, complacency, and indifference towards You; and for worshiping things that You created more than You the Creator who is forever to be praised. There is nothing and no one that comes infinitely close to comparing to You. You are holy and transcendent. You are the God Most High. You have set Your glory above the heavens. There is a day coming when Your glory will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. In the chaos of this present world, You are in total and complete control.
God thank You that You have been preparing me for the destiny that You have prepared me to walk in. Though I have no idea of what I am doing, and I have made many missteps along the way. I am thankful that my steps are ordered by You.
Thank You that You have been with me every step along the journey. If this were not the case, then I would have surely given up and lost my footing. You have kept me from falling to present me faultless before Your presence with exceeding joy. To You, the only wise God my Savior, be glory, majesty, power, and dominion both now and forevermore. In Jesus' name, Amen!
