Guide Me, God, and Change My Life. (Prayer Blog 292)

God, please forgive me for frequently behaving as though it is my responsibility to accomplish what You have called me to do. Sometimes I live as if Your Holy Spirit does not live within me. You do not rely on me to do anything; rather, I must rely on You for everything. Without You, I am unable to do anything. It is only through Christ that I can fulfill what You have called me to do.

You know my schedule and the tasks on my to do list. Help me trust You with them. Forgive my anxiety over what only You can handle and my worries about the future. Guide me to pray with gratitude and feel Your peace now. Empower me to prioritize Your Kingdom and righteousness, trusting You to provide all I need to fulfill Your will and glorify You.

I want to be part of a genuine spiritual movement that transforms lives, fosters true community, shows Christ's compassion to outsiders, and passionately pursues Jesus above all. Help me to live for You my audience of One and to have a singular allegiance to You above all others. Bring me to the place where there is nothing that infinitely comes close to comparing to You. May my greatest desire be to know Christ.

Lord Jesus, may You grow as I diminish. Make Your presence known, fill my life with Your Spirit, communicate Your words to me and through me, and let others see Jesus through my actions. Help me to pursue You with all my heart. Anoint and use me to convey the presence and words of Jesus to everyone I encounter. I am tired of being torn between living for this world and living for You. Lead me to fulfill Your will, follow Your guidance, and speak as You direct. Strengthen my faith and bring me to a place where I am led solely by Your Word and Spirit.
