Jesus Help Me to Live by Faith and Trust in Your Strength (Prayer Journal 280)

Father, in Jesus' name, I am grateful for Your patience with me, for never changing Your mind about me or withdrawing Your love. You are my King, my Lord, and my God. You are magnificent and deserving of great praise. You are Almighty, all-powerful, all-knowing, ever-present, and You reign over everything. You are awe-inspiring, beyond words to fully describe. You spoke the world into being and sustain it by the power of Your word.

Assist me in surrendering everything to You. I do not know how to accomplish this and need Your strength to do so. In this moment and place where You have positioned me, tend to the wounded parts of my soul. I welcome You into my insecurities. I admit my fear of failure, my desire to please others, my doubts about Your calling for me, and my struggle to trust Your word.

Help me shift my focus from temporary circumstances to truly see Your glory. Forgive me for making it about myself when it's all about Jesus. I need Your empowerment to change. Thank You for helping me trust You, for Your everlasting love, choosing me in Christ, calling me to partner in Your eternal purpose, gracing me to preach Jesus, using me to share Your word, and ministering through me.

Nothing is too difficult or impossible for You. With God, all things are possible. Help me to trust in this and live by faith, as Your word states that without faith, it is impossible to please You. Guide me to shift my focus from myself to Jesus. Help me to clear my mind and remain focused on You, as You maintain me in perfect peace.

There is no one comparable to You, no one who even remotely matches Your greatness. Assist me in shifting my focus and love from far lesser things to You, the supreme One. Help me devote myself to You so that You can use me to honor Your name and benefit others. Jesus, You are greater the enemy of my soul. You have made me victorious in Christ, empowering me to defeat the evil one through the blood of the Lamb and the word of my testimony.

Jesus, through You, I am the righteousness of God, and Your Spirit empowers me. I am strong in the Lord and rely on the power of Your might. I am who You declare me to be. I possess what You say I possess, and I am capable of doing what You say I can do. Guide me to perform greater works as I remain in You and Your word remains in me, so that I may produce abundant fruit for the Father's glory. In Jesus' name, Amen!
