Father, in Jesus' name, we are grateful for Your work, even when everything around us suggests otherwise. You are the God who appears not only in the fire, wind, and earthquake but also in the gentle whisper. Lord, please challenge our limited understanding of how You are at work in our lives and the world. Your actions are not dependent on our perception or performance but are entirely about Your presence. It is Your presence that truly makes the difference.

How often are You working among us and walking beside us without our awareness? We are much like those we read about in Your Word. Just as Elisha's servant was unaware that more were for them than against them, or Jacob, who did not recognize Your presence with him at Bethel. Similarly, the two disciples on the road to Emmaus did not realize it was the resurrected Jesus who walked and talked with them. Peter, too, did not know that it was the Lord's angel who led him out of jail, thinking it was merely a dream. And in the entire book of Esther, You are not mentioned once, yet Your hand of providence guides all that occurs.

You are more involved in our lives, marriages, families, churches, communities, cities, states, nation, and world than we realize. For those of us who know You, You have been with us and active in our lives long before we accepted Jesus and became aware of Your presence. Help us to become more conscious of Your presence so that, regardless of what is happening in our lives and the world, we understand that You are working to fulfill Your eternal purpose. Give us great boldness, courage, confidence, and wisdom because of Your presence with us and Your Spirit within us. Since You are present and active, help us to embrace Your truth and reject the lies of the enemy. In Jesus' name, Amen!
