Lord, please challenge our limited understanding of how You are at work in our lives and the world. Your actions are not dependent on our perception or performance but are entirely about Your presence. It is Your presence that truly makes the difference... ... Help us to become more conscious of Your presence so that, regardless of what is happening in our lives and the world, we understand that You are working to fulfill Your eternal purpose.

You are God, and I am not. Please help me humble myself before Your majestic glory. Lead me to my own Garden of Gethsemane moment, where I fully surrender and declare from a heart wholly Yours, 'Not my will, but Yours be done.' I do not wish to live by formulas, common sense, what seems right to humans, in a way others can replicate, a life explainable without You, or by worldly wisdom like those without Jesus.

Lord Jesus, I am in urgent need of You and am unable to accomplish anything without Your presence. I find myself resembling Peter before You permitted Satan to test him. Do whatever is necessary to lead me to the point where I willingly and joyfully give everything to You. You are the foundation of my strength and the power behind my life. Without You, I am nothing and cannot achieve anything of eternal value, bring You glory, advance Your Kingdom, or fulfill Your will.

Father, why do I feel like giving up when faced with life's challenges and situations? I need your help! I feel like I'm failing. I am aware that the adversary of my soul is waging a battle against me. Unfortunately, I lack the desire to participate in the fight. I behave as if I am defeated, even though, in Christ, I am truly more than a conqueror.

God, You do not love me based on my performance or how I or others feel about me. Your love towards me is constant and overwhelming.

I have disobeyed You and been reluctant to do Your will. Move me to repent of my sin and walk in the newness of life that I have in Jesus.

You are preparing me to walk in deeper intimacy with You and as a result to fulfill the assignment that You have for me in Your Kingdom.

Help me to live for You at all times no matter where I am or what I am doing.. grant me clarity as I walk with You in Your will and purpose.

You have not given me life to live some of it for You and most of it however I please... I will have to give an account to You for my life.

God, drain my heart of selfish ambition and vain conceit as You fill it with a desire to please You and bring You glory in everything.

God, do what You must to bring me to the place of surrender where with all sincerity I say to you 'Not my will but Yours be done.'

God, we are not our own. For You have purchased with the blood of Jesus...Bring us to the place of total surrender to You like Jesus...

Jesus, do not let us be poor stewards over the time, talents, and treasures that You have entrusted to us to glorify Your name.

...bring me to the end of myself and to complete dependence upon You. For I am nothing without You and can do nothing apart from You.

Bring us to the place that we follow You with reckless abandon ... put us in places that could only be explained by 'You are with us.'

Help us to see our circumstances with an eternal perspective... to see everything that happens as sifted through Your loving hands
