May My Life Bless You, Lord! (Prayer Journal 180)

Father, in Jesus' name, I bless and praise You my God and my King. Thank You for being so merciful, kind, gracious, loving, patient, and long suffering towards me. You know absolutely everything about me and yet You want everything to do with me. You have loved me with an everlasting love when all I deserve is Your eternal wrath. You made provision for the redemption of the world even before you created it.

I am thankful that Your grace is greater than my sin. Your Spirit in me who desires and empowers me to live righteously is greater than the sin in my flesh that desires to live wickedly. You have freed me from the penalty of sin as every single one of my sins have been forgiven and removed from me as far as the east is from the west. I am being freed from the power of sin and it is no longer my master. By the Holy Spirit I have been given the supernatural ability to put the deeds of this body to death. Thanks be to God who always causes me to triumph in Christ. Greater is He (Jesus) who is in me than he (satan) who is in the world.

God move me to confess any and all sin in my heart, mind, and life. Cause my soul to grieve over the sin that grieves and quenches Your Holy Spirit in me. Bring a godly sorrow to my soul over my sin that produces in me repentance and leads me to salvation. I want to walk in intimate fellowship with You. Make me a man who delights myself in You as You grant me the desires of my heart. May You be my heart's one true desire and my greatest and only treasure. Help me to be a pure and holy vessel who honors and glorifies Your name at all times.

May You have the preeminence, priority, and first place in all things. There is none like You, none that infinitely comes close to comparing to You. Bring me to the place where I worship only You in spirit and in truth. You are the Almighty God, the Sovereign King, who is the King of my heart. Daily grant me encounters with Your presence. So that for the rest of my earthly days the things of this world will lose their allure and grow strangely dim in the light of Your glory and grace (in the light of the unimaginable radiance of Your glorious face). In Jesus' name, Amen!!!
