Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I honor and praise You, my God and King. I am grateful for Your patience, love, kindness, mercy, compassion, gentleness, faithfulness, and consistency. You are the everlasting God who fulfills Your sovereign plans within time and space. You are beyond the confines of even the highest heavens, without any limitations or boundaries.
You cannot be confined, limited, understood, controlled, misled, or discouraged. Nothing and no one can prevent Your will and purpose from being fulfilled on earth. You have determined the outcome from the start. You neither lie nor alter Your intentions. What You declare, You do, and what You plan, You will achieve.

God, I don't need to know what to do. In everything, guide me to seek You. Help me see what You're doing around me. Reveal how You want to use me to collaborate with You in Your eternal purpose. Lord Jesus, live Your resurrected life through me, allowing You to grow as I diminish. Without You, I can accomplish nothing. Help me stay connected to You as Your word stays within me, so I can glorify You.

Lead me to the place where I desire no one else and need nothing else, for You are my everything. You can have the entire world, just give me Jesus. May I, like these men of faith, choose You over this old world:
Noah constructed an ark at Your command, enduring mockery and scorn from others when rain had never fallen before.
Abram refused the wealth offered by the King of Sodom because You were his shield and his exceedingly great reward.
Joseph rejected the temptations of a beautiful woman, having resolved in his heart not to sin against You.
Moses abandoned the wealth and pleasures of Egypt to join in the sufferings of the children of Israel.
David, zealous for Your glory, stepped forward to fight the giant Goliath, knowing the battle was Yours, not his.
Daniel refused the food from King Nebuchadnezzar's table and would not pray to King Darius because he lived solely to honor You.
The Apostle Paul took joy in hardships, persecutions, insults, necessities, and difficulties for the sake of Christ and the privilege of sharing in the fellowship of His sufferings.

Lord, since choosing to follow You, I haven't faced much hardship. Often, I find myself escaping the turbulent waters to relax on the comfortable shores of a sandy beach. Transform this part of me so it no longer exists. Lead me to live in complete reliance on Jesus with strong confidence, knowing You are always by my side. Thank You for listening to this prayer and for working powerfully in my heart to make this a reality. In Jesus' name, Amen!
