Jesus Use Me to Reach Young People with Your Gospel - Prayer Journal 273

Father, in Jesus' name, I bless and praise You, my great God and King. There is none like You. You are the Maker of the heavens and the earth, holding all things together by Your Word. You are the Sovereign Lord, ruling over the universe throughout history. You are the KING of kings, the LORD of lords, the Most High God. You alone are God, holy and eternal. You will reconcile all things to Yourself by the blood of Jesus Christ.

You have the authority to do as You wish with all of creation, including my life. Guide me to fulfill Your purpose for my life, to glorify Your name, advance Your Kingdom, and carry out Your will on earth as it is in heaven. Your desire for me to follow Your will surpasses my own. I was created by You and for You to bring You glory. Help me to remain silent in Your holy presence and wait for Your guidance. May I not act until I hear from You, and when I do, help me to obey and walk by faith without delay.

Jesus, You have chosen me to be Your salt on earth and Your light in the world. Scatter me where You wish to use me to protect people from judgment and instill in them a thirst for You, the Living Water. Position me where You want me to shine and reveal You, the Light of the world, to others. Empower me with Your Spirit and send me to those You have called me to share Your gospel with.

I request that You equip me to bring the Word and presence of Jesus to today's youth and young adults. Go before me with Your presence and prepare them for an encounter with Your presence and Word. Remove their hardened hearts and give them hearts of flesh. Anoint me and work with me to plant and nurture the seed of Your Word in their hearts, as You make the seeds grow.

Help me view this generation of young people through Your eyes. Fill my heart with Your compassion and love for them. Let the love of Christ drive me to share the gospel, which is God's power for salvation, with them. Allow me to focus solely on Jesus Christ and His gospel among those You send me to.

I pray for opportunities to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ on college campuses across this nation. Ignite a revival in my heart and use me to inspire revival in the hearts of believers. Let them be catalysts for a great spiritual awakening on campuses nationwide. Overcome the influence of evil as You pour out Your Spirit with power. Let the life of Jesus Christ emerge in places overshadowed by sin and death. In Jesus' name, Amen!
