Lord Jesus, I am in urgent need of You and am unable to accomplish anything without Your presence. I find myself resembling Peter before You permitted Satan to test him. Do whatever is necessary to lead me to the point where I willingly and joyfully give everything to You. You are the foundation of my strength and the power behind my life. Without You, I am nothing and cannot achieve anything of eternal value, bring You glory, advance Your Kingdom, or fulfill Your will.

May all that I think, say, and do spring forth out of the overflow of our love relationship. May everything in my life revolve around Jesus.

(God) What blows me away most is that You have chosen a people who deserve nothing but Your wrath to have an eternal relationship with You.

Help me to live with a holy desperation. For I am nothing and can do nothing apart from You. You are the air that I breathe.

Thank You for saving me from Your wrath, freeing me from sin and satan, and giving me eternal life.
