God, You are everything that I need. So why is it that I keep searching for something else as if You are not enough?

Though my sin is deserving of Your wrath, I am thankful that You sent Your Son Jesus to be the atoning sacrifice for my sin.

The darkness in this world is great but Your light is infinitely greater... You have called me as one of Your lights in this dark world.

Thank You that the good work that You've begun in me that You will perform until the day of Jesus Christ...You prune us to bear more fruit.

Jesus, my natural proclivity is to do me, as I give in to my desires and drift on the current of this world further and further from You.

God, bring me to the place of full surrender to You where I give it all to You as my reasonable response to You giving Jesus for us.

You are Almighty God and there is absolutely nothing impossible for You... help us to truly believe that You are in control in the chaos.

Jesus, bring me to the place where my life is poured out as an offering of praise to You the One who freely and fully gave Your life for me.

Jesus, You alone are the River of Living Waters and the Bread of Life. Only You can quench our thirst and satisfy the hunger of our souls.

God, I feel stuck living on autopilot with little to no expectation of You guiding my life as You order my steps.

More often than we realize it, You are working to, in, and through human beings who are not fully surrendered to You.

The Church has been lulled to sleep thinking that our power comes from politics when Your Kingdom, Jesus, is not of this world.

Set an open door before me and lead me through it. For the doors that You open no one can shut and the doors that You shut no one can open.

Jesus, I so often live by how I feel ... and what I think that I can do. Instead of living by faith in You the only wise God our Savior.
