I am deeply grateful that in Your anger, You remember to show mercy. You have not given humanity what we truly deserve. For everyone has sinned and falls short of God's glory, and the consequence of sin is death. Yet, You offer people the chance to confess their sins, repent, and return to You, as the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

There is no one like You and there is no one who has done for us what You have done for us... You are the only One worthy of our affection, love, loyalty, praise, and worship.

Lord, like Robert Robinson wrote in the classic hymn "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing", I am prone to wander without any real rhyme or reason. I keep getting involved in civilian affairs when I have been adopted in Your royal family and commissioned in Your army...

You are all that I need, the only One who can truly satisfy... You have not created and redeemed me to be Your worker, but Your child whom You dearly love... You alone are the lover of my soul, the One my heart longs for.

You are the King enthroned over Your creation. You are absolute moral purity. In You there is light and there is no darkness at all. You sit in unapproachable light and no evil, wickedness, or sin can be in Your holy presence ...Thank You that by the shed blood of Jesus You have taken our sins that were as red as scarlet and washed us whiter than snow. ...
